Those who: - enjoy working with people and would like to help people improve their health and wellbeing; - are interested in working in the following areas/with the following people: people living with long term medical conditions, those with sports injuries, children/paediatrics, people who need to be assessed for or who undergo foot and ankle surgery, people with inflammatory arthritis, those with high-risk foot presentations such as diabetes related foot wounds (and many more); - would enjoy learning about medicine, sports injuries, biomechanics and human movement, pharmacology, medical imaging, diagnostics, injection therapy, research, leadership and much more; - would enjoy working in an NHS (Community or Hospital Setting), or in the private sector – working for someone or running your own business, in education, as a researcher, or in management and leadership; - want to join a profession of autonomous practitioners, who can both diagnose and treat medical conditions of the foot/ankle and lower limb. -want to work in a profession whereby the scope of practice is continually expanding, and you can move on to specialise in Foot (Podiatric) Surgery with further training; and - prefer to work flexibly and have the opportunity to be you want to be your own boss if you chose to work in the private sector.
