Accommodation for January: If you are a new student joining us in January 2025 you may apply to join the waiting list but please note that all rooms have now been fully allocated. Should any rooms become available in the event that students do not arrive or withdraw from their course we will refer to the waiting list

For some useful information about how to search for off-campus accommodation please read our Private Sector Accommodation Guide.

Below you will find everything you need to know about the application process so you can enjoy the convenience of campus life and avoid the hassle of flat hunting.

WHO can apply to stay in student accommodation

You can apply for accommodation on campus if you are a:

  • new student with a firm conditional or unconditional offer;
  • full-time undergraduate student at ÎÞÂëȺ½»;
  • full-time postgraduate student at ÎÞÂëȺ½»; or
  • exchange or study abroad student.

Priority is given to new students in accordance with the Accommodation Allocation Policy. Accommodation for continuing students is very limited and cannot be guaranteed.

WHEN should I apply?

Online applications open in April each year. You should apply for accommodation whether you have a firm conditional or unconditional course offer.

Accommodation on campus is very limited, therefore we recommend you apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You will find out more information in our Accommodation Allocations Procedure.

HOW do I apply?

You should apply online via our e-Accommodation system. You will first need to register to create an e-accommodation account. Following that, you can begin the application process. It should only take around 15 minutes to complete the application form and it’s important that you have following information to hand:

  • Your ÎÞÂëȺ½» Student Number
  • Your personal details
  • Your email address

WHEN will I be made an offer of accommodation?

If you have a firm conditional offer then your application will only be processed once you have met the conditions of your course offer (eg after you have received your exam results).

If you have firmly accepted an unconditional course offer then your application will be processed as soon as possible, subject to availability. When you submit your application you will receive an email confirming when you can expect to hear from us.

Please note that submitting an application does not automatically guarantee an offer of accommodation. Depending on your eligibility, student type and entry level you may be given priority. You can find out more information about this in our Accommodation Allocations Procedure.
